McKinley Jane and Grant Alan

I'm a little late at getting our 13 month update out this time around, but I'm getting around to it before 14 months hits so that should account for something! The babies were 13 months (11 months) adjusted age a couple of weeks ago and are still chugging along learning new things each day. We're busy trying to avoid the nasty flu that's already flying around like crazy and keeping up with daily life. McKinley: I guess I would now officially call her a walker although she resorts to crawling when she wants to get somewhere quickly. She never does things the easy way though and instead of pulling up an item and then walking to another item she has to stand up in the middle of a room, clap for herself, do a little dance, and THEN proceed to walk. It's hilarious watching her learn this new skill and she always looks so proud of herself. She had her first "accident" this month after falling down the stairs. I was sitting right there with her when she did...

In September we had the babies Dedicated at our church. It was a private ceremony and Grandpa Ted and Grandma Julie were able to join us. Afterwards the babies got to do some of their favorite things to celebrate....french fries and ice cream at McDonalds and then playing in the play area! Waiting patiently for our name to be called McKinley with Grandpa Ted *Grandma Julie was there but all our pics seem to be of Ted!!
