McKinley Jane and Grant Alan

While we were in Colorado Springs we hit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo which was very cool!  The best part was being able to feed the giraffes!

We flew into Colorado Springs for our trip back home so we spent a few nights enjoying the activities there and getting in some hiking Grant at the airport :) We were able to catch a Colorado Rockies game Garden of the Gods.  The kids loved hiking here! This mama messed up and booked a midnight flight instead of a noon flight lol!

We did a visit back to Kansas before flight prices increased for the summer and before we got our first foster kiddo.  It was still COLD and reminds me of why we live in sunny Florida! Where else can you stand in the middle of the highway and take a picture?? Grandpa had to trick out his golf cart Exploring the old bank building.  Our rule follower, McKinley, kept asking if we were going to get in trouble LOL! We even found an old toy from when Chad was a kid! Grant loves all the animals on the farm Going for a ride in Papa Jack's old Ford pickup

We were able to do our annual blueberry picking so that we had lots of blueberries for freezing and baking!  This family farm is always so much fun with bounce houses and lots of yummy blueberry treats! Look at how big the blueberries are! He chose a blueberry  muffin of course
