McKinley Jane and Grant Alan

We hosted a messy play day with my mom's group and had a BLAST! We had different stations set up and just let the kids go crazy! We had a great turnout and the weather was AWESOME. Chad definately deserves the hubby of the year award for this day though because he worked all night and then came home and helped me set up and keep the kids busy during the party...what a guy!! I didn't post many pics to go along with the 17 month update since our computer was acting up so I'm finally catching up now! Enjoy... What a stud! McKinley hanging out with our friend Bekka. I told you the posts would slow down after the holidays! With as busy as we've been though, be surprised that I'm actually getting around to their 17 month update (15 months adjusted age). You are getting shortchanged on pics though b/c our computer is acting up. So we've got them down to one nap a day now and it's going well. They sleep from 630p.m.-730 or 800a.m. and then take a nap from about noon-2:30 p.m. We still do a daily outing in the morning which is usually a playdate or going somewhere fun. Then in the afternoon we've been taking advantage of the nice weather and going to the park or for a walk. I'm dreading when it gets to be summer again and is 120 degrees! Right now they love it when we gate off our front patio and they sit out there and play while Daddy is working in the garage. After the nap switch the biggest change we've had this month is I now only work part time...YAY!! I work two 12 hour shifts at night and Chad still works part time of...

We recently took a trip to Los Angeles to visit some family and had a great time! We traveled at night so the driving time went smoothly. We were planning on going to Disneyland but plans got changed so we went to the horse track instead. Talk about good, clean fun for two 1 year old's! They loved petting the horses and seeing them run though! We also went to see my cousin's soccer game which they won and Zachary played awesome! I realized after downloading the pics I don't have any of my Uncle Steve and Aunt Debra, but a big thanks to them for putting up with all of us for the weekend!
