After the fort we visited the St Augustine Lighthouse and the kids did awesome climbing all those stairs!  It didn't hurt that we bribed them with ice cream and the beach afterwards if there was zero complaining :)

We decided to take a day trip to St. Augustine and it was such a cool town!  Our first stop was the fort which was from the 1800's.  A lot of cool rooms to go into and beautiful views of the ocean.

Fourth of July was pretty low key this year because Chad was working so the kids and I spent the day at the pool and then met Chad for fireworks!  Instead of fighting the crowds we just walked across the street to the lake by our house and watched the fireworks from downtown.  It was alot of fun and so much better than hours of traffic and crowds in my opinion.
