Family Movie Night!!

Image
One of the activities on our Advent calendar was family movie night, which has been one of my favorite activities so far!! We watched the Polar Express, ate popcorn, drank hot cider and painted toenails! McKinley wouldn't let me paint her toenails, but Grant would!

Thanksgiving 2010

For Thanksgiving we celebrated by going to Chad's parents and spending some time with Grandpa Ted, Grandma Julie and Uncle Tyler! After lunch Grant was so full he couldn't even get his pants back on haha! Helping Grandma Julie cook McKinley loved the chocolate dipped fruit basket Playing in the sandbox with Uncle Tyler I love this hat, but Chad hates it! McKinley delivering her pumpkin to grandma Grant delivering his pumpkin to grandpa Oh, man Grant looks horrible in this pic, but I'm too lazy to replace it!! Painting pumpkins. Can you believe we were outside without clothes in November?!? making our "I'm Thankful for..." pumpkins for grandma and grandpa

November Recap

Lots of posts will be coming this next month with the holidays being here! I love Christmastime and we have lots of fun stuff planned. Grant: He officially wins the award for first broken bone! In late October he fell and broke his clavicle. We didn't have to do anything for it and it healed very quickly. You wouldn't have even known anything was wrong he handled it so well! He still loves his trucks and loves driving them all over the place. Every afternoon he has to go outside and jump on the trampoline and every afternoon is a fight to get him back inside. This boy LOVES to be outside and would spend all day out there if he could! He loves to carry on "jibberish" conversations where he'll talk for hours, but you can't understand a word he says. However, when you ask him to say a specific word he's able to say it clearly so he's coming along, just no full sentences yet. He's still so laid-back and easy to discipline. Not much ruffles ...

Thank Goodness for Grandpa Ted!

Luckily Grandpa Ted was there and was able to get some amazing pics of Chad and Grant fishing! Too bad there are none with all 3 though...

Boy Day/Girl Day!

Ever since we found out we were having boy/girl twins we were excited for future Mommy/daughter and Father/son dates and vice versa ! Well two year's later we finally did our first Mommy/Daddy date day! McKinley and I went to the Nutcracker Sweet Tea ballet where we had a cute little lunch of tea sandwiches and yummy treats and then watched a short performance by some young ballerinas! It was SOOOO stinkin ' cute! We will definitely make this an annual thing! Grant and Chad went fishing at a local park and Grandpa Ted was able to join! Chad said he loved trying to stick his feet in the water and messing with the tackle box! No one caught any fish though :-(( I was disappointed there weren't any pics of Chad and Grant together, but I guess that's what happens when Mommy isn't there to take pics! All the ladies from my playgroup that made it and their daughters! My friend Missy and I! She brought her 2 daughters along McKinley with her buddies Layla and Olivia McKi...
