November Recap
Lots of posts will be coming this next month with the holidays being here! I love Christmastime and we have lots of fun stuff planned.
Grant: He officially wins the award for first broken bone! In late October he fell and broke his clavicle. We didn't have to do anything for it and it healed very quickly. You wouldn't have even known anything was wrong he handled it so well! He still loves his trucks and loves driving them all over the place. Every afternoon he has to go outside and jump on the trampoline and every afternoon is a fight to get him back inside. This boy LOVES to be outside and would spend all day out there if he could! He loves to carry on "jibberish" conversations where he'll talk for hours, but you can't understand a word he says. However, when you ask him to say a specific word he's able to say it clearly so he's coming along, just no full sentences yet. He's still so laid-back and easy to discipline. Not much ruffles his feathers!
McKinley: I'm reading "The New Strong-Willed Child" to help me deal with the stubborness of this girl! She got her mommy's strong personality and some days it brings me to tears! She is such a sweet little thing, but will need to learn to use her strong personality towards good things and not defying Mommy and Daddy!! She loves playing with itty bitty toys. Anything she can hold in her palm she will carry around for days! What amazes me is that even after a full night of sleeping she can remember exactly the three small items she took to bed with her and all three will need to be accounted for until she will come out of her crib! Her language has EXPLODED the last week! She will imitate any word you say, including hippopotamus! She's starting to say sentences now and I've found the increased language has really helped her behavior. She loves learning new things so I'm excited to start homeschooling her. Right now we're working on colors and her favorite is yellow!

Our little Elton John!
At the Desert Ridge tree lighting and snow fall ceremony

McKinley loves the sleeping bag attachment for the stroller, Grant not so much!

Poor thing fell asleep in the middle of the floor when she was sick..

I love cuddling with them before bedtime!
McKinley's new favorite past time...my mom will love this pic ha ha!
