We've passed that big one year milestone and looking back on the past year all I have are fond memories other than the fact that it flew by WAY too fast! I miss my cuddly, little 3 pound babies. Well, maybe not 3 lbs...how about when they were 5 lbs. I love that McKinley will still cuddle with me at night before she goes to sleep while she sucks on her blanket. McKinley and Grant turned 1 year old over the Labor Day weekend and we celebrated by having a Dr Seuss Thing 1 and Thing 2 birthday party! They've had their one year pediatrician and developmental checkups but I'll post all that in a separate post later. For now, enjoy the pics! Some friends outside playing washers Chad's parents dressed up as "Grand" Thing 1 and Thing 2...hilarious! Grant wouldn't eat any of his cake but he enjoyed destroying it McKinley loved eating her cake McKinley didn't want to get her hands dirty so she just sucked the frosting off Their smash cakes made by Chad and I...we determined there's a reason people buy their cakes! McKinley riding in her car from Grandpa Ted and Grandma Julie. She loves this thing and will even crawl up in it on her own and wait for us to push her Grant loving his new toy! They weren't sure about the actual unwrapping of the gifts
