Chocolate Factory tour.  The guy that did the tour was so WEIRD but the kids thought he was hilarious LOL! Valentine Day party with our homeschool group McKinley had a cute pig, Grant had a motorized box of course and Jace had a shark!

The ONLY picture we got of Chad and McKinley together was the photo taken by the photographer at the dance and it's only a hard copy so I realized when I was making this post we don't have any of them together :(  It was such a rushed evening b/c we had an event that afternoon I guess we just forgot.  What a fun night they had together though.  Grant and I went to the Amazing Fun Play center and played arcade games, jumped in the bounce house, played some basketball and then ate lots of donuts from Dunkin Donuts for dinner!  Love our special date nights.

We had a big storm headed for Kansas City and I was at working sitting listening to everyone talk about the weather and listening to all the schools closing and hospital department closings and decided I was not about to be stuck in my house again for another 2-3 days.  So.....I booked a room at the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City and we decided to get snowed in there!  Our friends Rachel and Marcus decided to join us as well and it was an amazing experience.  I love how Chad just jumped on board.  I called him at noon and told him it was booked and he packed everything up and headed there with the kids and I met them after work.  What a fun, fun time as a family and with good friends.   Getting instructions from the wizard to start our treasure hunt.  A very high tech treasure hunt that was difficult for me to do even!
