McKinley Jane and Grant Alan

My favorite time of year in Arizona was always spring training time so I was really excited to be back in a state that has spring training games even though it's not as big of a deal in FL as it is in AZ.  The stadium we went to was beautiful and we did lawn seats which are always more fun because then the kids can run around.  It was pretty darn hot so we broke down and bought a $20 water fan...total rip off but totally worth it!

For the first time since being in AWANA the kids got to race in the AWANA races and I don't know who had more fun building the cars..the kids or Chad! Neither of the kids cars made it very far in the competition but it was a lot of fun!

We love going to Animal Kingdom and earning stickers in our explorer books! Grant got to play the Beast :)

You can't live in Florida and not take a trip to Key West but I have to say....Chad and I both were kind of disappointed LOL!  If you're looking for beautiful beaches Key West is in my opinion not the best place to go, however if you want water sports and partying you are in the right place!  We booked a campsite not even thinking that it was spring break and all the broke college students would be camping too so it was an interesting stay! One of our favorite activities was Mallory Square for the sunset festival  There were a ton of street performers and the kids got to drink out of a real coconut which is their favorite thing in the world when we are on vacation!  One of the street performers ended up calling McKinley up to participate in the show and she did a great job!  Wasn't nervous at all and was up there for about 15 minutes! We managed to fit in a daddy/daughter dance and mommy/son date night again, but unfortunately we didn't get any pics of Chad and McKinley together because Chad had to rush right from work to get McKinley to the dance :(  As usual, McKinley had an absolute blast dancing and spending some special time with daddy. Grant and I went to an indoor amusement park and did laser tag, a pirate ship game, and trampolines!  We had so much fun together and these dates are so much fun the older they get! This girl's posing cracks me up!

One of my favorite things about the apartment that the company put us up in in Orlando was that it had its own private beach and lake.  Every Sunday it became our tradition to go hang out at the beach fishing and playing and then do a bonfire that evening with s'mores.  It will really be something that I miss when we leave.  Lots of good memories on this beach!
