San Antonio

Image
At our hotel a guy randomly came up and asked if we wanted Pink Floyd coverband tickets for that night for free so we took them and it just so happened Chad had packed his Pink Floyd shift LOL! This was a really cool mexican restuarant that has been open every day since 1980's.  They don't even have locks on their doors.

San Antonio-Sights around town

Chad and I got to take a trip sans kids to San Antonio while Ted and Julie stayed in Orlando to watch the kids.  We ended up loving San Antonio way more than we thought we would.  What a fun city to explore and some beautiful architecture to see!  One of the best things we did was take a segway tour on our first day.  It was a really fun way to see a large amount of sites and then we could decide which places we wanted to walk back to to visit more at length.  I would highly recommend segway tours in some of these bigger cities! Texas Hill Country Wineries

On our trip to San Antonio Chad and I took a daytrip up to hill country to visit some wineries.  Who knew Texas had so many wineries?  It was a fun day and we got to see some beautiful properties.

Nature Preserve Lakeland

Before the Publix field trip we went to a nature preserve in Lakeland and hiked around.  We got to see several alligators, some butterflies, an armadillo and some other small creatures!

Publix Field Trip

We got to go on a field trip to the dairy plant with Publix grocery stores and it was a lot of fun!  The best part of course was getting to sample the ice cream :)

July Recap

Image
Dunkin' Donuts with some friends Chad and I's boss, Susie, passed away from cancer in July.  She was so much more than a boss to me and she will be missed dearly.  To celebrate her life we went out to an Irish pub after the funeral Grant watching all the public school kids get off the bus LOL! She set a trap and actually managed to trap a lizard! This is all he wanted on his actual birthday day!
