McKinley Jane and Grant Alan

The big goal of everyone when they visit Colorado Springs is to Climb Manitou Incline so Chad and I couldn't pass up the opportunity!  It's a one mile vertical climb and with the altitude it's definitely a tough one!  We wanted to complete in an hour but we were a few minutes over that time.

My hairstylist recommended this fun restaurant called the Rabbit Hole which is underground and an Alice in Wonderland themed place.  It was so fun and the drinks were a blast especially the one with the flaming marshmallow! Bar in hotel

The only thing I miss about AZ is the hiking so I was in heaven with all the beautiful hiking in CO! We hiked over 15 miles in one day including an uphill climb to the top of a waterfall!    Garden of the Gods was my absolute favorite!

One goal Chad has is to collect baseballs from as many baseball stadiums he can around the country so we decided to hit up a Rockies game while we were in Colorado. Beautiful stadium and a great game! After the game we had to go to Casa Bonita because Chad remembers that restaurant from his childhood and apparently I had been before when I was a toddler but of course I don't remember.  Food was awful but the experience was fun! Ted and Julie kept the kiddos while Chad and I went to Colorado Springs and as always the kids had a blast.  Since we can't expect the kids to share the golf cart Grandpa Ted took the blade off the mower so Grant had his own "vehicle".  Along with driving around they built and painted their very own treehouse! We were able to go home and do a short visit to Granny and Papa Jack's farm this summer before Chad and I went on to Colorado Springs.  The kids always love the freedom they have to run around there and all the animals Papa Jack's drone

Each summer the kids go to summer camp through the local city and they always love it.  We had told them if they could get through the whole summer with no warnings or reports from their teacher's we would take them for a special treat.  They both ended up not having any negative reports so they picked Crepevine for their end of summer treat!
