While at Clearwater we visited an ancient Indian mound and the Sunken Gardens.  Both beautiful places and I would highly recommend. 

Chad worked hard and trained for a half marathon and his family and I got the benefit of tagging along to Clearwater and enjoying the beach and good food lol!

Since watching "Dolphin Tale" we've been wanting to visit the Clearwater aquarium where Winter and Hope live.  Very cool aquarium with up close exhibits to watch the animals.

The kids have been wanting to go to Ripley's and the world's largest McDonalds for awhile now so we managed to hit both in the same day!

We did a late Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa this year in January and enjoyed all the fun stuff like baking sets, electrical circuit game for Grant, a beautiful necklace for me and Chad got a hockey jersey just like when he was a kid!

New Year's Eve was low key with our friends Adrianna and Travis coming over to play games!  We let the kids stay up to midnight for the first time and they hung in there like champs to the very end.  We played a lot of fun games, had balloons that the kids got to pop each hour and then ended with confetti poppers and sparkling cider/champagne!
