August Update and Funny Quotes

I have to take a minute to brag on the kids...with all the changes that have gone on the last 2 months they have done wonderfully and have just adjusted without any issues!  While waiting to move into our house we stayed in 3 hotels, 5 houses, and unloaded our suitcases from the car 11 times!!! We slept in bed all together, on floors, on couches and they did great.  They absolutely love their new house and their new rooms.  However, after being able to sleep with each other so long I'm trying to break the habit of Grant sneaking into McKinley's room every night :-)  They love living by their cousins and we have already built up a pretty good friend base with playgroups from church and bible study friends and my family.  Moving was tough, but it was definately the best decision for our family!  So...some funny quotes heard the last month or two:

McKinley:

-When she sweats she says she's "melting"
-We were getting our pics taken for our vow renewal and the photographer wore a suit and she kept saying "Why is that policeman taking our picture?"
-Chad and I obviously need to tone down the kissing in front of them b/c when McKinley goes to kiss anyone she slips in tongue now hahaha!
-She wanted a new mermaid swimsuit so bad and I told her she already had enough swimsuits but she could do extra chores if she wanted.  I made up a chore chart beyond her usual chores and darned if the girl didn't have that thing completed in 2 days!!!  She's one motivated girl!

Grant:

-Grant's favorite thing to say right now is "Daddy is my best boy" and "Mommy is my best friend".  What a sweet boy...
-Grant is obsessed with his "bible book" and will take it everywhere with him and even keeps it in the box so nothing happens to it.
-Grant likes to call bare feet "berry feet"
-Grant was carrying a cup full of juice so Chad told him to keep his eyes on the cup so he didn't spill it and the literal mind of our 3 year old proceeded to put the cup to his eyes and spill it haha!
-Grant was eating a sucker after church and he said "Mmmmmm...this sucker is sooo juicy!"

And the unknown culprit:

They were upstairs playing in the bathroom one day before we moved and they got in trouble like usual.  That night I went to brush my teeth and discovered that they had obviously used Chad's bottle of aftershave as "toothpaste" on MY toothbrush.  YUCK!!!
