First Day of 4th Grade

We decided to try something different for 4th grade this year and while we are still using Abeka curriculum we ordered the teaching disks that accompany the curriculum.  It's nice having a classroom teacher that teaches concepts that Chad and I are unpracticed in and it's also nice for the kids to have a little "competition" with their classroom friends.  We've supplemented as it's worked for us and after a few weeks were able to find a good routine and process that works for us. 

 

The kids had outgrown their little toddler desks so Chad made me up a brand new classroom and I LOVE it!  It's perfect for us and makes homeschooling so much easier.

 

We wanted to start a fun back to school tradition so we decided to start going to Farris and Fosters for their chocolate making night the first day of school each year.  It was a blast and we left stuffed full of chocolate!!
