My mom has always dreamed of visiting Washington D.C. and even though this was an inconvenient time for Dad with harvest and farming we decided we couldn't be this close to D.C. without her visiting so Dad graciously told her to go along without him and she flew back to Washington D.C. with me when I was back in Kansas for work! We had a great time riding and walking around D.C. looking at the sites and then checking out the cool things around Fredericksburg, VA
